The Wine Estate

As far back as the archives can remember, grape has been a tradition at Saint-Ferréol, besides wheat and irrigated crops.

Saint-Ferréol produces wines with the AOC label  “Coteaux Varois”. Its south-facing vineyards benefit from long hours of sunshine and cool nights preceding maturity which help the grapes retain all their aroma.

Climatic conditions, the slope of the land, the soil, all combine to give the wine its lightness and its fruity taste. All these natural qualities are enhanced in the wine-making process.

The production of Red, Rosé, and White wine bring all the flavours of the land. Most of the vineyard is made of old vines (75% is over 30 year old). It ensures a need for moderate quantity exploitation and make traditional and manual harvest necessary.
